//...backed to the river seine. as i scanned this neg, i remember the power of this shutter snap. the sight of this gentleman left me with an immensely sad empty feeling, the only time he moved was to wipe from his face what seemed like tears. was one of those moments i wish i captured how strong the emotion i felt was at that time.
